...is what brings us togevah...
i got married 3 weeks ago. i've joined the ranks of the old married people, and you know what, i'm okay with it. i did realize, however, that this may cause a change in Note to Self's music altogether. now, generally, jason and i each write the lyrics to the songs that we spearhead. and we normally end up singing the lead part for those songs. many of these song lyrics are written directly based on events that occur in our lives, but sometimes we (and recently I) will write in the first person about a fictional event or situation. however, for songs not written that way, you will notice a distinct absence of "songs about girls" which will be forever replaced by "songs about girl". although, i do reserve the right to write from a fictional character's perspective about girls. don't read into that as a sign that anna and i are having marital problems. just look at how happy we are:
we actually were holding that pose the whole way down that hallway from back at the exit sign whilst jeanie figured out how to take a picture with my camera. anyway, i will still probably theorize about how relationships work in the early stages, even though i plan to never experience those stages again. i guess that's why it's theory. also, here's a picture of one of my brother-in-laws eating a cupcake:

Hello, this is Donny your brother-in-law. I hope the extreme enjoyment that I am obviously getting out of this cupcake pales in comparison to the enjoyment of married life. Life is sweet, no?
