Black Monday for the dating market

Yes, the rumors and tabloids are true. The entire nation of singles can begin mourning. Stockholders of eHarmony should sell immediately. Two of the true powerhouse-potential prospects in the dating scene are now officially off the market: Anna Caitlin Hart and myself. Of course, that's the long and arrogant way of saying that I'm engaged. The whole thing was a blur, but it ended like this:

Okay, I'm kidding. I remember all of it. Except that both of us seem to have forgotten how she responded. We're both confident it was some sort of positive response, but neither of us actually remember any of the words she used. So we're assuming engagement until proven otherwise. Hopefully someone doesn't leak a video to the internet of her saying "no," because then I'd have to come up with a whole other engagement idea.

Speaking of which, you can read all about it on theknot.com, which, I've discovered, is a sort of girl's marriage dream world. Many girls, apparently, even set up an account before they're engaged or even dating someone. For example, a page for a girl named Katie would be "Katie & ???". I've decided that basically it's like fantasy football for girls. It's a little sad, kind of obsessive, and only sort of applies to the real world. Guys have fantasy sports; girls have fantasy engagements.

Anyway, I'm not going to post a link to our theknot.com page because it's not done yet, and we don't have a date set, although they made us put one in. I'll post the link as soon as the info on there is all good. It's also another place for me to use my new-found html skills. And my bo staff skills. In the meantime, here's the link to the pics of the engagement setup.
